This post is a wee late, but we did get to spend last weekend exploring the final days of the London Design Festival, and it was a treat. From top to bottom, left to right: Lego Greenhouse by Sebastian Bergne, a hot autumn day ice cream cone, David Mach’s King Silver gorilla sculpture made entirely from metal coat hangers, Amanda Levete’s Timber Wave outside the Victoria & Albert Museum, Colour Me Red, Colour Me Green by Liliana Ovalle, Skin Imitation Swimsuits by Markus Bergström & Karin Peterson, and Elisa Stroyzk’s rug made of wood-veneer offcuts. A couple of these pieces are part of the V&A’s exhibit The Power of Making, which goes through 02 January and we highly recommend it.
PS/ Don’t forget to pick our mug! Voting ends EOD PST tomorrow.
