A week ago we had the opportunity to see Sofia Coppola’s North American premiere of her latest film Bling Ring and attend the gala that followed in Seattle’s Museum of History and Industry. The evening was spent with great friends, the weather was sunny, and our hopes were high for a mere sighting of Ms. Coppola or, what if, Emma Watson. AHHH!! Turns out they weren’t in attendance, but amidst the excitement, we were asked to have our group photo taken by Seattle fashion blogger It’s My Darlin who was shooting on behalf of SIFF—and K was pulled aside for a special solo shoot. Go see the film when you can, and in the meantime, enjoy its soundtrack here, too.
No, we haven’t had any luck getting a ticket to see an Olympic event, I’m over it, not really. Meanwhile, back in the USA, a very fine man needs reelecting soon, and so my 2012 OBAMA tee (in men’s and ladies’) is up for pre-order sale. Pass it on to all your friends and families—support independent artists, and well, get out there and vote in style. BAM! Buy your tee here.
This post was for summer solstice, but it was rainy and cold in London that day. So, instead, hi, July! Hooray for watermelon and vitamin D plus fruitful, summertime adventures and all you need to celebrate the American Independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain Day, typically referred to as the Fourth of July. Cue the fireworks, people.

This lesser known Warhol series titled Sunset seems like an afterthought at the MoMA (NYC, USA) as it’s located near the washrooms. I took this snap and realised this season’s spring fashion must have been inspired by Andy’s 1972 colour palette and so am I! Let’s dream Paris and a peachy rosé, confetti cherry blossoms and key lime pie. Yummy, screen printed leather goods from Toronto, Canada-based Falconwright. Their next shop update should be coming any moment now, so stay tuned. Can’t you see these at Liberty?!
London’s already decorated for Christmastide and it is officially: cold. Bundle up and embrace it, I say! Here, a winter check list or a Christmas want list, a weekender packed for Paris or for the off-season seashore. These are a few of my favourite things for ladies and/or lads.
